By using Steam-Achievements.com ("the site", "we") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. How the site handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
The service
- The site is a free tool that shows achievement progress for public Steam profiles and compares it with other players.
- It is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Game names, icons and artwork belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify the games.
- Figures come from the Steam Web API and our own calculations. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong: Steam can report out-of-date rates, new unlocks can take time to appear, and rarity scores, percentiles and estimates follow our own methods. Do not rely on them for anything important.
- We may change, pause or stop the site, or any part of it, at any time without notice.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- use automated tools to look up profiles in bulk, or to scrape the site or its API;
- try to overload or disrupt the site, or get around its limits or those of the services it relies on. Every visitor shares one Steam API allowance;
- try to reach data or parts of the site that are not meant to be public;
- use the site to harass anyone or to misrepresent anyone's Steam activity.
We may block access that breaks these terms.
Leaderboards, rankings and bans
- Any public profile looked up on the site, and a random sample of public Steam profiles, can appear on the leaderboards with its Steam name, avatar and figures.
- We exclude some games from all statistics, such as games designed to hand out thousands of achievements, and we may ban profiles that we believe used programs to unlock achievements without playing. Banned games and profiles are listed publicly, profiles with the reason. These decisions are our judgement and at our discretion.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using, or being unable to use, the site, or from relying on its figures. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
